Ophiuchus - The 13-th Zodiac sign

Okay :) I wanted to write about this like, a week ago, but I was too busy. Anyway , few days ago I noticed some of my facebook friends were posting some stuff about "the new horoscope" and there were status updates like : "OMG I'M NOT A CAPRICORN ANYMORE! I'M SOOO GOING TO DIE! FML!".(ok, I'm exaggerating a little but who cares).

So I did a little research (I googled ^^) and I found the new Zodiac signs. Actually those were the old signs with new birth dates. A friend of mine told me that I probably switched to Scorpio or something (because I used to be Sagittarius ).So I found some random astrology page, found the birth dates and scrolled down...and then I saw it : NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 17- OPHIUCHUS. And I was like Ophi...what? I couldn't even pronounce it :). I searched again and apparently now I'm some dude who plays with snakes?
So who is this Ophiuchus guy? Here's what I found:

The 13th sign of the zodiac, unlike the other 12 signs is actually associated with a real person. In the 27th Century BCE in Ancient Egypt lived a man known as Imhotep. Imhotep was known as ‘Aesclepius’ by the Ancient Greeks, however the attributes are the same under either name. One of Imhoteps abilities was healing and it is said that it was he who introduced it to mankind. His accomplishments also included a wide knowledge of medicine. The serpent or snake symbol which is still used today to symbolize the medical profession was also used to represent Imhotep. These descriptions below are associated with Ophiuchus :

  • Many people are envious of this subject as he progresses well throughout life.
  • A seeker of wisdom and knowledge
  • Many people are jealous of this person
  • Tends to go for the more flamboyant in dress sense, favouring bright colours.
  • Authority looks upon him well.
  • Would make a great architect or builder.
  • Number 12 is this persons lucky number.
  • This person will have a big family but leave home at an early age.
I can relate to most of stuff here:)
Also, some people say that this sign is somehow related to Jesus? I don't know, but I've also read that Ophiuchus will play a big part on 21.12.2012. (whatever may happen, I don't believe in the "end of the world" theory tho).

So what now? I used to read daily horoscope for Sagittarius and now I have NO daily horoscope? :) (FML:P)
If you know something interesting about my sign then please post it below in the comment section:) tnx.
So what do you think about the new horoscope?
Are you Ophiuchus as well? Do you like your new sign?

AVON (should get the f**k away from me)

Ok, if you are a girl you've probably heard of Avon make up so you know what I'm talking about. If you are a guy - you probably know what I'm talking about as well because it's pretty damn everywhere for over 100 years I guess -.-".
I was in elementary school when I first came in touch with Avon cosmetics. I didn't know how to feel about it, I couldn't figure out why  are  people  ordering make up from some stupid catalog when they can go to stores and see/try/smell the product they're buying. And for some reason I always found their perfumes awful.

In high school  several girls  from my class were working for Avon an Oriflame. I didn't pay much attention.
Now I'm in college and EVERYONE is selling/buying Avon make up! It's everywhere! And I still can't figure out the reason WHY?!

The other day I was at the mall, minding my own business, when I noticed an old woman standing beside a table. On the table was a lot of shiny and colorful...stuff. And I couldn't help but to look. I swear - I just LOOKED. And there was this women (who was old enough to be my grandmother) trying to make me become a member and SELL Avon products.
Me. The anti-Avon person.
I didn't know what to say to her. I was like "No, that's not my thing" and "All of my peers are doing this already." and even "I hang out ONLY with straight boys"- but no, nothing helped.
Before I realized what have happened, I was holding a catalog in my hands and she had my phone number, mail and what not...

So- I ended up avoiding  this lady's calls, but she keeps on trying.

Don't get me wrong, I am a girl, I LOVE make up, I even watch Michelle Phan's tutorials on You Tube (she's a make-up artist and a spokesperson for Lancome-just in case you don't know what I'm talking about).
I just don't understand why women have the need to order stuff from catalogs when they can buy it in stores where (I guess) the quality of make up is better.

Personally, I've seen what they're offering in this catalog I got the other day, and I must say- I don't find anything too appealing.I'm not gonna lie tho- I ALMOST ordered "Outspoken" by Fergie (I used to be a fan of BEP even before she was in the band...but I'll talk about that some other time).

Anyway- I guess women will be women and Avon will live another 100 years- even more, probably.
And I? I will just keep avoiding calls -.-" Ugh...

QUICK UPDATE : ok, I'm not gonna lie, now I AM a member of Avon club -.-" I feel so miserable, but the truth is - I need to gather some money right now and Avon is just one of zillion jobs I'm collecting money with at the moment XD but anyway - I'm not buying their products! they suck...they sent me a lot of gifts but I gave all of them to my mom , she's happy now, lol.

How often do you get drunk? (eer' body in teh club gettin tipsy!)

Hey guys! I don't have nothing else to do at the moment,so I decided to make a really lame blog entry XD I'm just kidding , I'm not going to discus alcoholism, or drunk driving , I simply want to share my thoughts on drinking. So here we go :)

Personally ,I used to do a lot of stupid shit back then (key words- back then XD). Its quite embarrassing now when I think of it, but I guess it's all just part of growing up.
Today I asked myself "when (where) did I actually start drinking?" . As far as I remember I had my first experience with alcohol in elementary school, I was like...eight grade? (yes). Anyway , we were on some sort of school trip and some of the kids from my class got this "oh-so-brilliant" idea - a party at their room. I still don't remember where our teachers were at the moment but we brought  hectoliters of alcohol to that place. A lot of kids got drunk that night (I didn't). One of them got so wasted that we had to call the ambulance. So yeah - we got busted and I didn't feel quite great about the whole alcohol thing -but that didn't stop me from drinking! no sir.

My second drunk experience was probably with my close friends and there's nothing interesting about that, but my 8754752134857'th drunk experience is something to talk about XD Ok, the embarrassing moment number 1:
I was at this party (how random) at my friends apartment, and it was something wrong with electricity in his building, I don't know, main thing- there was no light. We decided to go out and buy something to eat.I got out of the apartment and I was supposed to walk few meters forward and then turn left. I was so wasted that I actually turned - RIGHT. I've hit the wall real hard XD You ever done that? It freaking hurts -.-"!! I swear I couldn't feel my face. When my friend realized (heard) what happened he laughed his ass off.

Embarrassing moment number 2:

It was New year's eve. Long story short - I got wasted and made out with some random dude (shit, I don't even remember his name...). Well, ok , it was not that simple XD First of all ,I was not wasted, I don't even think there's a word to describe the state I was in. I think that we were all in this room, watching some porn (I don't even know why!!WHY?), then I started to make out with that dude, and then I vomited my soul out. At least they told me it happened that way :/ I only remember arriving at my friends house.
Now I know what you're thinking -but I'm not some sort of...Ke$ha ...(whatever). I don't do stuff like that real often (*super-defensive*).
There are also some random drunk moments (like trying to tie my shoes and falling on my head) but I got a little tired of writing :/ :P

In general - I don't have an idea why I still drink when I go out. Sometimes I don't like the company I'm in (so I get drunk and all of a sudden -love everyone). Sometimes we just order drinks for no actual reason. I really don't know why I still do stuff like that-I hate that headache when I wake up the next morning.

FACT : we drink when good things happen (to celebrate), we drink when bad things happen (to drown our sorrow) and we drink when nothing is happening (to make things happen XD).

Do you drink?
Why do you drink?
What is your most embarrassing "drunk moment"?

XOXO
Oh, and one more thing - DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!!
